Welcome to the Brown Edge Covid-19 support page

We are voluntary group supported by the Parish Council.   We will be working closely with health colleagues to ensure that the people of Brown Edge are protected and kept well-informed.

We have 2 facebook pages one is a closed group for volunteers and one for general information on how you can access support and assistance.

This website has been set up in order to enable  support requests be made securely and for volunteers to register themselves as being available to assist.

I Would Like To Volunteer!

We need volunteers that can

  • Collect/deliver weekly food orders from Keiths for households who are self isolating.
  • Be a street co-ordinator ensuring that everyone in their area is aware of what help is available and ensuring people are being looked after
  • Dog walk (bearing in mind people will still need to exercise)
  • Be available for a chat (over the phone or social nedia)
  • Help organise all this!

If you are sick or self-isolating as a result of the Covid-19 virus and need to ask for help from others then click the button below. This could be that you:

  • need to collect a prescription
  • would like someone to bring you some shopping
  • are feeling anxious or lonely and need to talk to somebody
